A brief background
Located on Harrington Road, South Kensington, the hotel was originally built in 1888 as a boutique hotel with only 80 rooms, each of which had different fittings and furniture and did not abide by uniformity. The hotel was comfortable and luxurious and was set apart by its character and distinction.
