Transforming The Ampersand Hotel

Spring 2012 will see South Kensington welcome the opening of a newly renovated original 1888 Victoria boutique hotel – The Ampersand Hotel. This 110 bedroom hotel takes inspiration from the nearby cultural district including the V&A, The Royal Albert Hall, The Natural History Museum and The Science Museum.

Following an invited design competition Dexter Moren Associates were appointed as architects and interior designers to transform 2 – 10 Harrington Road into “one of London’s best boutique hotels”. Over the next few months we’ll be sharing with you the inspiration behind our design concepts to the design development and construction on site.
